Sanjana has been coming to this learning center for four years now. She lives with her parents, five sisters, a brother, and grandmother.
When she first arrived, she was unable to read write or count, and could not even communicate properly. However, now after four years, she not only can count and write until five hundred, she also knows her tables till fifteen! She can now read Hindi very well along with rudiments of English too. She has also learned basic etiquette and manners like how to talk to elders, how to walk and speak properly, and basic hygiene like washing hands before eating, cleaning up after meals and required personal hygiene.
Her mother is a domestic worker, and now she helps her out in washing utensils at some houses in the mornings before she comes to the center to continue her learning journey.
She wants to learn and read more, and is sure the Foundation will help her in doing so.
